Biological Activity

Potent and selective competitive leukotriene D 4 and E 4 receptor antagonist. Inhibits LTD 4 - but not histamine-induced guinea pig ileum and trachea contraction (pA 2 = 8.7). Also inhibits LTD 4 -attenuation of human PMN chemotaxis. Orally active in vivo .
