Uses

It can be used to prepare enantiomeric potential sensors based on potassium tetrakis(4-tert-butylphenyl)borate. It can be used for the identification and detection between two enantiomers.

Application

CN201310686828 reports an enantiomeric potentiometer based on potassium tetra(4-tert-butylphenyl)borate, which is prepared by the following steps: (1) Weigh 3-4 parts by weight of potassium tetra(4-tert-butylphenyl)borate, 64-66 parts by weight of plasticizer and 32-33 parts by weight of PVC, and dissolve them in 600 parts by weight of tetrahydrofuran; (2) After all components are completely dissolved, pour the solution onto a glass plate and allow it to spread naturally. After standing at room temperature for 23-25 hours, a PVC film is obtained; (3) The obtained PVC film is... The membrane was attached to one end of a PVC hollow tube with a PVC concentration of 8% tetrahydrofuran solution. After 10 minutes, the solvent was completely evaporated and KCl was poured into the tube. An Ag/AgCl internal reference electrode was inserted to obtain a PVC membrane electrode.
