BISMUTH SUBCITRATE POTASSIUM Chemical Properties,Usage,Production

Uses

7-Ethoxy-4-methylcoumarin (Standard) is the analytical standard of 7-Ethoxy-4-methylcoumarin. This product is intended for research and analytical applications. 7-Ethoxy-4-methylcoumarin is a coumarin derivative and can be used as a substrate probe of mammalian cytochromes P450 1A1, 2B4 and 2B6[1][2].

Biological Activity

Bismuth Subcitrate potassium is an antibiotic used to treat stomach ulcers infected with Helicobacter pylori.

in vitro

Bismuth Subcitrate potassium crystallizes in dilute HCl at pH 3, a unique assembly of three basic bismuth citrate dimer units ([Bi(cit)2Bi]2-) forming two-dimensional sheets and three-dimensional polymers , found that the solubility of Colloidal Bismuth Subcitrate in water was greatly affected by pH, from above 70 mg/mL at pH 7, down to 1 mg/mL at pH 3.

target

MIC50: 8 ug/ml ( C. pyloridis )
