Isolated from Rhodiola quadrifida, it exhibits anti-allergic activity. It has a role as a metabolite and an anti-allergic agent. It is a cyanogenic glycoside, a beta-D-glucoside, a monosaccharide derivative and an aliphatic nitrile.
