Necrox-5 (methanesulfonate) Chemical Properties,Usage,Production
Description
NecroX-5 is an inhibitor of necrosis/necroptosis. NecroX-5 has been shown to scavenge mitochondrial reactive oxygen and nitrogen species, and thus preventing necrotic cell death against various kinds of oxidative stress in several tissues, including the brain.
Uses
NecroX-5 is a derivative of the NecroX, reduces intracellular calcium concentration, and possesses anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer activity.
in vivo
NecroX-5 (2.5 mg/kg, everyday other day) inhibits breast cancer cell metastasis in TUBO-P2J tumour-bearing mice[1].
