Uses

Methyl ionone gamma is often used to prepare violet, sweet-scented osmanthus, acacia, and mimosa-type essences, and is also a commonly used fragrance in lily-type and perfume-type, Suxinlan, ambergris, amber incense, musk, and oriental fragrance.
