Biological Activity

FLT3LG (Fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand) is a hematopoietic growth factor. It plays a significant role in the development of myeloid and plasmacytoid dendritic cells. It is also involved in the expansion of Treg (T regulatory) cells, thereby offering treatment for autoimmune disorders and transplantation processes. FLT3LG is associated with autoimmune arthritis, for instance rheumatoid arthritis and primary Sjogrenμs syndrome. FLT3LG along with FLT3 is involved in the proliferation of primary AML (acute myeloid leukemia) blasts and autocrine signaling in AML.
