Viaminate Usage And Synthesis
Uses
Viaminate is a pharmaceutical used to treat severe acne and other keratinization disorders. Viaminate can be taken orally, or topically in prepared gels and creams.
Synthesis
In the reaction tank into 240kg dichloromethane, 17kg (105.4mol) benzocaine, 20kg triethylamine, and then 42kg vinyl chloride (131.7mol) diluted with the appropriate amount of dichloromethane, at -3 ?? ~ 5 slowly added to the above reaction tank, plus the end of the reaction at 30-35 ?? for 2 hours, distillation under reduced pressure to the tank precipitated a large number of solids, add 60kg 95% ethanol, stirring, cooling precipitation crystals, centrifugation, washing, drying, that is, 48.9kg of finished product vinyl ester yield 83.0%, purity 99.0%. 60kg of 95% ethanol, stirring, cooling precipitation, centrifugation, washing, drying, that is, 48.9kg of finished products of Viamine ester, yield 83.0%, purity 99.0%.
