Reacts with NO forming anadduct which is a potent and stable vasodilator. Its actions are very similar to those of NG-Hydroxy-L-arginine on the potentiation and stabilization of NO

Reacts with nitric oxide forming an adduct which is a potent and stable vasodilator
Biological Activity
An early antitumor agent. Oxidation results in release of NO, and formation of other reactive oxygen species, including peroxynitrite and peroxyl radicals. Reacts with NO to form an adduct which is a potent and stable vasodilator.
