Corylin Usage And Synthesis
Chemical Properties
White powder, soluble in methanol, ethanol, DMSO and other organic solvents, derived from Psoralea fruit.
Uses
Corylin has anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-aging, anti-bacterial and anti-tumor effects.
Biological Activity
Corylin is an important biologically active compound isolated from Psoralea; antibiotic or anticancer compound.
in vivo
Corylin (60 mg/kg, i.p., three times a week, 4 weeks) inhibits tumor growth in Huh7 cells xenograft mice[3].
Corylin (50-100 mg/kg, p.o., daily, 9 weeks) improves the high-fat diet (HFD)-induced obesity in HFD- and DIO-treated mice[3].
