Cythioate Usage And Synthesis
Description
Cythioate is a member of the organothiophosphate compounds that is used as an insecticide and anthelmintic. It has been sold under the trade names Cyflee and Proban, under which form it has been used for veterinary purposes against fleas.
Uses
Cythioate is used as pesticide.
Safety Profile
Poison by ingestion. An insecticide. When heated to decomposition it emits very toxic fumes of NOx, PO,, and SOx
