2-Bromo-4-nitro-1-(trifluoromethoxy)benzene is a polysubstituted organic benzene compound, mainly used in the preparation of pharmaceutical and chemical intermediates.

Synthesis

In a Teflon lined vessel, 2-bromo-4-nitro-1-(trichloromethoxy)benzene and DMi-HF were added. the reaction was stirred at 120 C for 3 h. After the reaction was completed, the reaction was neutralized with saturated sodium carbonate solution, then extracted with 50 mL of dichloromethane, and the organic phase was washed with water, dried with anhydrous sodium sulfate, and filtered to obtain 2-bromo-4-nitro-1-(trifluoromethoxy)benzene.
