Uses
UNBS5162 is a pan-antagonist of CXCL chemokine expression, with anti-tumor activity.
Biological Activity
UNBS5162, an amonafide (naphthalimide) derivative, is a potent antitumor agent th at inhibits tumor proliferation, progression and invasiveness. UNBS5162 is a pan-antagonist of CXCL chemokine expression. It appears th at UNBS5162 inhibits melanoma progression through inhibition of the AKT/mTOR signaling pathway.
in vivo
UNBS5162 (20 mg/kg, i.v.) increases the therapeutic benefits of taxol in vivo in the orthotopic human PC-3 prostate cancer model[1].
