Galantamine Benzoate-D3 is an isotopic labelled compound of Galantamine Benzoate, a pro-drug that slows down plaque deposition and ameliorates behavior in 5X familial Alzheimer's disease mice.
in vivo
Benzgalantamine (Memogain, 0.3-3 mg/kg, intranasal, twice a day for 2 weeks) improves cognitive function by promoting neurogenesis in the hippocampus, specifically in the dentate gyrus and CA1 regions of the hippocampus in rats models[2].
