Description

Fmoc-Gly-Gly-Phe-OH is an Fmoc-protected glycine derivative with a carboxylate group at the α position and an amide group at the β position. It is a white solid that can be synthesized by the reaction of ethyl glycine with glyoxylic acid in a solvent such as chloroform. This compound can be used for proteomic research and solid-phase peptide synthesis technology. It has been used to study the binding of oxytocin to its receptor, which is important in regulating uterine contractions during labor.

Uses

Fmoc-Gly-Gly-Phe-OH is a cleavable ADC linker used in the synthesis of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).
