Flusulfamide is a fungicide used in pesticide formulations in the treatment of crops.
Definition
ChEBI: A sulfonamide resulting from the formal condensation 4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)benzenesulfonic acid with 2-chloro-4-nitroaniline. A fungicide, it is used to control Plasmodiophora brassicae in brassicas and Polymyxa betae in sug rbeet.
Synthesis
The synthesis of flusulfamide involves the following steps: 1. Synthesis of a sulfonamide precursor from o-chlorotoluene or p-nitroaniline as starting materials. 2.
