RUBIDIUM DICHROMATE Usage And Synthesis
Chemical Properties
Crystals.
Preparation
Rubidium dichromate is obtained by evaporation of stoichiometric mixtures of Rb2CO3 (or RbOH) and CrO3.
Hazard
A confirmed carcinogen. A poison. A pow- erful oxidizer.
Safety Profile
A confirmed carcinogen. A poison. A powerful oxidizer. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of Rb2O. See also RUBIDIUM,
