Chemical Properties

Olive-green to black solid, crystals, or granules. Decomposes when heated to 1300C to uranium dioxide. Insoluble in water; soluble in nitric acid and sulfuric acid.

Uses

Nuclear technology, preparation of other uranium compounds.
