Description
Benzyl 2-naphthyl ether: a temperature-sensitive sensitizing agent.
Benzyl 2-naphthyl ether is a white or pale yellow powder, 304~309 ℃ of fusing points, and solvability is dissolved in all solvents hardly, can be used as heat-sensitive paint and is used for producing temperature-sensitive paper and medical aspects.

Synthesis
The synthetic method of Benzyl 2-naphthyl ether temperature-sensitive sensitizing agent may further comprise the steps:
(1) In 5000L exsiccant glassed steel reaction vessels, add DMF and the 820kg2-naphthols of 2700kg successively. Then, warm up to 50 ℃, add 250kg sodium hydroxide, and drip the 800kg Benzyl Chloride for 2 hours. Then, add the back 50-52 ℃ of insulation reaction for 2 hours.
(2) under the vacuum of 150Pa, the whole evaporates to dryness of the DMF in the still; controlled temperature is no more than 100 ℃; add the 350kg o-Xylol then be warmed up to 95 ℃ of backflows; time with 2 hours under nitrogen protection is added drop-wise to the 1500kg tap water in the reactor; keep 90~100 ℃ of temperature; after water injection; leave standstill layering in 30 minutes; the inorganic layer branch of lower floor is fallen; the organic layer press filtration on upper strata in crystallization kettle, with time of 1 hour add the 2000kg anhydrous methanol cool to then 5 ℃ centrifugal, dry the solvent after drying to product Benzyl 2-naphthyl ether 1180-1200kg.
