Geissoschizine methyl ether has anti-platelet aggregation and anti-thrombotic, blood pressure-lowering effects.
Biological Activity
Geissoschizine methyl ether, an alkaloid compound discovered by the Uncaria hook, is also the main active ingredient in the psychoactive Yokukansan. It is a potent 5-HT1A receptor agonist.
