Dde Biotin-PEG4-Alkyne Usage And Synthesis
Description
Dde Biotin-PEG4-alkyne is useful for introducing a biotin moiety to azide-containing molecules using Cu(I)-catalyzed Click Chemistry. The hydrophilic spacer arm provides better solubility to the labeled molecules in aqueous media. Dde protecting group allows efficient release of captured biotinylated molecules from streptavidin under mild conditions with hydrazine.
Uses
Dde Biotin-PEG4-alkyne is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. Dde Biotin-PEG4-alkyne is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
