Description

Propargyl-PEG5-CH2CO2H is an alkyne linker with a carboxylic acid. The carboxylic acid can react with primary amines to form stable amide bonds; activator (e.g. EDC, or HATU) is needed. The alkyne group can participate in copper catalyzed azide-alkyne Click Chemistry to form stable triazole linkage.

Uses

Propargyl-PEG4-CH2COOH is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. Propargyl-PEG4-CH2COOH is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
