Synthesis

Benzylhydramine hydrochloride is produced by reacting benzylhydramine hydrochloride with sodium hydroxide, and then benzylhydramine citrate is produced by reacting benzylhydramine citrate with citric acid. However, this method uses benzylamine hydrochloride as the starting material and is costly.
