Uses
Direct Fast Red 3B is an organic, diazo dye used in the textile industry for various materials, such as cotton and silk.
Preparation
3,3′-Dimethylbenzidine double nitriding, first and 7-Hydroxynaphthalene-1,3-disulfonic acid coupling, and then coupled with phenol, finally under certain pressure and heat monomer (VCM), hydroxyl ethyl of phenol.

Reactivity Profile
DIRECT FAST RED 3B is an azo compound. Azo, diazo, azido compounds can detonate. This applies in particular to organic azides that have been sensitized by the addition of metal salts or strong acids. Flammable gases are formed by mixing materials in this group with alkali metals. Explosive combination can occur with strong oxidizing agents, metal salts, peroxides, and sulfides.
