Description
Spizofurone is an antiulcer agent that acts primarily by increasing mucus secretion and microcirculation in gastric mucosa and also by its inhibitory effect on acid secretion.
Chemical Properties
Crystallized from ethanol, melting point 102-104°C; 106-107°C. Acute toxicity LD50 for male and female mice, male and female rats (mg/kg): 1810, 1740, 5630, 5640 oral.
