6-Oxochelerythrine Usage And Synthesis

Description

Oxychelerythrine shows antifeeding activities against Tribolium castaneum adults, with the EC50 of 1932 ppm. Oxychelerythrine shows high modulatory activity enhancing the susceptibility of the S. aureus ATCC 6538 to all the tested antibiotics from two to four-fold.

Uses

Oxychelerythrine is an alkaloid that can be isolated from Zanthoxylum integrifoliolum. Oxychelerythrine exhibits cytotoxicity against P-388 and HT-29 cell lines with ED50s of 3.25 and 5.48 μg/mL, respectively[1].
