5Me3F4AP is a potent blocker of potassium channel, with the IC50 of 220 μM to 693 μM when the pH is increased from 6.4 to 9.1. 5Me3F4AP has the potential to cross the blood-brain barrier and potential application in positron emission tomography (PET)[1].
