URIDINE 5'-DIPHOSPHORIC ACID SODIUM SALT Usage And Synthesis

Description

Uridine-5'-diphosphate disodium salt is a potent, selective P2Y6 receptor native agonist (EC50=300 nM; pEC50=6.52 for human P2Y6 receptor). Uridine-5'-diphosphate disodium salt, an endogenous metabolite, catalyzes the glucuronidation of a wide array of substrates and is used in nucleic acid (RNA) biosynthesis.

Uses

A phosphorylated derivative of the nucleoside Uridine. It is further phosphorylated by nucleoside diphosphokinase to form the triphosphate analogue.

Uses

Uridine 5''-Diphosphate Sodium Salt is a potentially useful P2Y receptor agonist. It can be used in biological study and use in chemical screening methods to identify ligands that promote protein stability, protein crystallization, and structure determination.
