Synthesis

CN202010573013.3 provides a method of preparing a boron trifluoride tetrahydrofuran complex, said method of preparation enables instantaneous complexation of tetrahydrofuran and boron trifluoride, is able to avoid oxidative discoloration of tetrahydrofuran under vacuum conditions, adopts an independent desulphurization process, eliminates the process of distillation and desulphurization, and reduces the water and sulfur dioxide contents in the product.

Using the first vacuum pump 2, the second vacuum pump 12 and the third vacuum pump 17 to evacuate the said tetrahydrofuran vaporization tank 6, the reaction tank 13 and the desulfurization tank 21 to -0.1 MPa, respectively, and keep them for 1h;

Under the condition of stirring (80 rpm), 50 kg of tetrahydrofuran was added to the tetrahydrofuran vaporization tank 6 to heat the tetrahydrofuran in said tetrahydrofuran vaporization tank 6 through the first steam heating device, and to maintain the temperature of said tetrahydrofuran at 80??C and to reach the gas-liquid equilibrium state (0.15 MPa);

The cold water was passed through the cold water inlet 9, and the tetrahydrofuran vapor was passed into the reaction tank 13 at the rate of 25 kg/h and the boron trifluoride vapor was passed into the reaction tank 13 at the rate of 23.61 kg/h to start the complexation reaction, and at the end of the reaction the temperature of the reaction solution was 80 ?? C. and cooled down to 50 ?? C. under the condition of stirring (80 revolutions/min) to obtain the crude product of the boron trifluoride tetrahydrofuran complex;

The crude product of said boron trifluoride tetrahydrofuran complex is conveyed into a desulfurization tank and heated to 50??C by a second steam heating device under stirring (80 rpm) and maintaining vacuum (-0.1 MPa) conditions for 3h for desulfurization, then cooled down to 25??C and discharged to obtain said boron trifluoride tetrahydrofuran.
