(R)-C3-TUNEPHOS Usage And Synthesis

Reaction

  1. New generation of chiral biaryl phosphine ligands with tunable dihedral angles. The ability to modify the dihedral angle allows for the fine tuning of the catalyst system and optimization of enantioselectivity.
  2. Ru-C3-TUNEPHOS complexes are used for asymmetric hydrogenation of β-ketoesters , enol acetates , cyclic β-amino acids , α-phthalimide ketones , and α-keto esters .
  3. Rh-catalyzed hydroformylation of cyclopropenes.

Uses

Chiral Quest Phosphine Ligands for Asymmetric Hydrogenation

Reactant for:

  • Asymmetric hydrogenation of ketones with TunePhos/diamine/ruthenium complexes
  • Stereoselective preparation of arylalkyl esters via enantioselective hydrogenation of enol acetates

Precatalyst for:
  • Enantioselective iridium-catalyzed carbonyl allylation from alcohol or aldehyde by transfer hydrogenative coupling of allyl acetate

Catalyst for:
  • Enantioselective hydrogenation of a-keto esters to a-hydroxy esters using Ru-tunephos catalysts
