Uses

9H-Carbazole-3-carbaldehyde is an anticancer agent that can be isolated from the stems of Lansium parasiticum (Lour.) Skeels. 9H-Carbazole-3-carbaldehyde shows significant cytotoxic activity in a variety of tumor cell lines, especially against H1299 and SMMC-7721 lung cancer cells with IC50 values of 6.19-26.84 μg/mL[1].
