Cyanine3 carboxylic acid Usage And Synthesis

Description

Cy3 carboxylic acid is a free non-activated dye and can be used as a non-reactive fluorophore for experiment controls and instrument calibration. It is a non-sulfonated reagent with good solubility in organic solvents and limited aquous solubility.

Chemical Properties

Anthocyanin CY3 carboxyl is a red solid, easily soluble in organic solvents such as methanol and DMF, and slightly soluble in water.

Uses

Cyanine3 carboxylic acid chloride is a non-toxic red fluorescent dye with good solubility in organic solvents. Cyanine3 carboxylic acid chloride can be used as a non-reactive fluorophore for experimental control and calibration. Cyanine3 carboxylic acid chloride can also be synthesized with targeted agents as fluorescent probes for rapid detection of agent reactions[1].
