Uses

Synthesis

The general procedure for the synthesis of 2,3-dimethoxybenzoic acid from o-anisidine and carbon dioxide is as follows: an o-o-metalation reaction was carried out according to the method described in Example 1, using different substrates and CO2 as an electrophilic reagent.
