Chemical Properties
Yellow-orange powder. Soluble in water, aqueous solution is yellow. Slightly soluble in ethanol, acetone, insoluble in toluene. Brilliant orange color in concentrated sulfuric acid, brilliant orange color in concentrated nitric acid.
Preparation
aniline diazo, and 2,5-Bichloro-4-(3-methyl-5-oxo-4,5-dihydropyrazol-1-yl)benzenesulfonic acid coupling.
Properties and Applications
brilliant yellow. Bright orange powder. Soluble in water yellow, slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone, insoluble in toluene. Strong sulfuric acid in a bright orange; Nitric acid in a bright orange. This product used for wool, silk dyeing, good levelness.
