NU6140 Usage And Synthesis
Uses
NU 6140 is a cyclin-dependant kinase 2 inhibitor which demonstrates 10-36 fold selectivity against Cdk2-cyclin A. This selectivity induces cell-cycle arrest at the G2-M phase and potentiates the apoptotic effect of pacitaxel.
Biological Activity
NU6140 is a CDK2 inhibitor with 10-36-fold selectivity over other CDK family members. NU6140 induces apoptosis and cell cycle arrest in cancer cells in the G2-M phase, and potentiates the cytotoxic effects of paclitaxel.', 'NU6140 is known to downregulate the expression of survivin protein, which possesses antiapoptotic activity and is generally overexpressed in cancer cells.
