Uses

Acid Red 1 is a synthetic red azo dye used as food additive. Studies have shown that Red Acid 1 is converted to toxic compound aniline and may ultimately interfere with blood haemoglobin.

colourful red blue light. Red powder. Soluble in water solution for big red, slightly soluble in ethanol and soluble fiber element, insoluble in other organic solvents. Purification Methods
