Acid-PEG5-mono-methyl ester Usage And Synthesis

Description

Acid-PEG5-mono-methyl ester is a PEG linker containing a terminal carboxylic acid and a mono-methyl ester functional group. The terminal carboxylic acid can react with primary amines in the presence of activators such as EDC and HATU to form stable amide bonds. The hydrophilic PEG linker increases the water solubility of compounds in aqueous media.

Uses

Acid-PEG5-mono-methyl ester is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1].
