Aminooxy-PEG4-Propargyl Usage And Synthesis
Description
Aminooxy-PEG4-propargyl is a aldehyde reactive crosslinker. The aminooxy group reacts with an aldehyde or ketone group to form a stable oxime linkage. The propargyl group is reactive with azide-bearing compounds or biomolecules via copper catalyzed azide-alkyne Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage. Aminooxy compounds are very reactive and sensitive; they cannot be stored for long term. Immediate use (within 1 week) is highly recommended.
Uses
Aminooxy-PEG4-propargyl is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. Aminooxy-PEG4-propargyl is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
