POLYGELINE can be used to correct or prevent circulatory insufficiency caused by plasma or whole blood volume deficiency, such as hypovolemic shock, due to loss of whole blood or plasma caused by severe trauma, burns, surgery, etc., and as a volume supplement for cardiopulmonary bypass machines in cardiovascular surgery.
