Uses

Disperse Blue 72 is used for dyeing polyester and its blended fabrics, as well as for direct printing of polyester or triacetate fabrics and transfer printing. It can be used to color various resin plastics, such as polyacrylic resin, ABS resin, polystyrene, plexiglass, polyester resin, polycarbonate, etc., to obtain red and blue. It has excellent heat resistance, sun resistance, and migration resistance, good tinting power, high transparency, and a wide application range.

Preparation

1,4-Dihydroxyanthracene-9,10-dione or anthracene-1,4,9,10-tetraol or 1-Bromo-4-hydroxyanthraquinone or 1-Chloro-4-hydroxyanthracene-9,10-dione and to a aniline heating.

Properties and Applications
