4-(4-Ethylpiperazin-1-ly)aniline Usage And Synthesis

Synthesis

General procedure: 1-ethyl-4-(4-nitrophenyl)piperazine (7.5 mmol) was dissolved in ethanol (50 mL) and 10% Pd/C catalyst (0.2 g) was added. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature and under hydrogen atmosphere for 9 hours. Upon completion of the reaction, the catalyst was removed by diatomaceous earth filtration. The filtrate was concentrated under high vacuum to give the target product 4-(4-ethyl-1-piperazinyl)aniline.
