(4E)-TCO-PEG4-DBCO Usage And Synthesis
Description
TCO-PEG4-DBCO is a heterobifunctional click chemistry reagent containing a TCO and a DBCO moiety. TCO group specifically and efficiently reacts with terrahydrazine at fast speed. DBCO is very reactive toward Azide through copper free click chemistry, the PEG spacer increases the aqueous solubility of the reagent.
Uses
TCO-PEG4-DBCO is a PEG-based PROTAC linker can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs. TCO-PEG4-DBCO is a cleavable ADC linker used in the synthesis of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs)[1]. TCO-PEG4-DBCO is a click chemistry reagent, it contains a DBCO group that can undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules containing Azide groups. TCO-PEG4-DBCO also contains a TCO group that can undergo an inverse electron demand Diels-Alder reaction (iEDDA) with molecules containing Tetrazine groups.
