General Description

A colorless liquid with a strong disagreeable odor. Insoluble in water and less dense than water. Vapors heavier than air. Flash point near 50°F.

Iptes on contact with chromium trioxide. Violent reaction with HNO3. Incompatible with oxidants. To fight fire, use alcohol foam, foam, CO2, dry chemical.
