Chemical Properties

This product is a synthetic long-acting corticotropin analog, its chemical composition is similar to the first 18 amino acids of human corticotropin, with only 1 position substituted by D-serine and 17 and 18 positions substituted by lysine. This product has anti-protein hydrolase activity in vivo, so the rate of degradation is slowed down, thus prolonging the duration of action, generally can be maintained for 24-48h, similar to zinc procorticotropin 24 peptide, but without the latter injection of the hardness, pain and other adverse reactions.

Uses

Codactide is a synthetic octadecapeptide, with corticotropin-like action[1].
