Synthesis
To 328 g of sodium cyanide (NaCN) (30%), 14.4 g of butanone was added dropwise, 10 g of hydrazine hydrate (80%) was added dropwise, and 30% sulfuric acid was added dropwise below a controlled temperature of 30??C to Ph = 7, and the reaction took 3 hours.
