- Isoamyl acetate from acetic acid and isoamyl alcohol.
- 2-Amino-5-(5-nitro-2-thienyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazole from 5-nitrothiophene-2-carboxaldehyde thiosemicarbazone via oxidative cyclization.
