Preparation
Trisodium arsenate(V), Mr 423.9, 1.759g/cm3, mp 86.3?C, is obtained most easily by neutralizing arsenic acid with sodium carbonate or sodium hydroxide. Concentration by evaporation gives a marketable product having the formula Na3AsO4·12H2O.
