Chemical Properties
Light yellow liquid. Freezing point <-35℃, relative density 1.055-1.075(20/4℃), refractive index 1.490-1.500. easily soluble in ester, ether, ketone, alcohol, aliphatic hydrocarbon, aromatic hydrocarbon, chlorine and major plasticizers, insoluble in water.
Uses
Dioctyltinmercaptide is used as a stabilizer in poly(vinyl chloride).
