Uses

C.I. Acid yellow 99 is an acidic yellow dye that combines with coconut shell pith through electrostatic and complexing reactions.

Preparation

3-Amino-2-hydroxy-5-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid diazo, and 3-Oxo-N-phenylbutanamide coupling, and then into a chrome complex.

Properties and Applications

red light yellow. Yellow powder. Soluble in strong sulfuric acid is brown, it will be diluted light brown for solution. Used for wool, silk, polyamide fiber dyeing and printing directly, also can used for leather dyeing, especially for the wool carpet and influential dyeing, can also be used for the preparation of solvent dye.
