(S)-3-Amino-2-methyl-1-propanol, is a reagent used in the preparation of novel pyrazolo[4,3-e][1,2,4]triazine sulfonamides which are used as carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. Carbonic anhydrase inhibitors are used for their anticancer activity in human breast cancer cell lines.
